Internship Program Opens

Councilwoman Susan A. Berland is sponsoring "Hire Huntington," an internship program in which the town will act as a conduit to partner local businesses and qualified high school students seeking summer internships."Hire Huntington" is an eight-week internship program that will run from July 8th to Aug. 26th  in Huntington. Businesses interested in participating in the program will have to complete a questionnaire that details the hours and skills needed from an intern. Students interested in participating in the program will also have to complete a questionnaire that details the hours they are available, the skills they currently have and the fields they would like to explore.  Students who are interested should call Susan Berland's office at (631) 351-3173.
