Western Suffolk BOCES Programs

Western Suffolk BOCES has added a pre-entrance exam for Saturday, Jan. 5th for those seeking admission to the Practical Nursing and Surgical Technology classes that will begin in March 2013. The PN program is approved by the NYS Education Department and the Surg Tech program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs. To help prepare applicants for this rigorous exam, Tech offers a Basic Skills class and a Prep Class for the pre-entrance exam. The pre-entrance exam may be taken once a semester. A successful score on the pre-entrance exam is required for applying to these two programs but does not guarantee admission. American Airlines to Hire 1,500

Passengers flying American Airlines will soon see some new faces on board. American Airlines will be hiring new flight attendants for the first time in a more than a decade. They have announced that they have posted job openings for 1,500 flight attendants & will start hiring this month.
