Library Clerk Civil Service Seminar

SCLA & PLDA Civil Service Committees along with the Suffolk County Department of Civil Service are sponsoring a workshop for the Library Clerk exams. Although the workshop is targeting the entry level exam anyone taking an upper level clerical exam is welcome. Topics covered include current list of exams & E-Alerts, reading exam announcements, the application process, preparing for exams & interpreting exam scopes, exam results & canvassing according to “Rule of Three” & zones & residents preferences. Join us at the Huntington Public Library Station Branch to learn about a free, at-home study program for adults 21 and over, who would like to prepare for the GED exam, but are unable to attend classes on a regular basis.
