CNC Operator:
CNC operator machinists oversee the CNC machines that shape parts from metal or plastic. Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Needs to be able to operate buffing machines Must be able to work Monday – Friday with flexibility to work either a day or afternoon shift. Attention to detail a must!

Assembly:
Positions could be temp to hire for the right candidate! Must have good motor skills as you will be working with small parts and tight tolerance, must be able to work in fast paced environment. Must be able to work Monday – Friday full time day hours.

Picker/Packer & Shipping and Receiving Clerks:
Responsible for picking orders and packing of specific orders, must be able to quickly determine the correct products and work efficiently to ensure shipping deadlines are met. Knowledge of either UPS or Fedex shipping software is a plus.

General Warehouse Labor:
Need hard working people who are willing to work in either a warehouse or retail environment. Duties include but not limited to, stocking of shelves, moving of merchandise, from stockroom to retail floor, need to be a team player. Must have clean and neat appearance.

New York Career Expo

On Tuesday, October 30th "Women For Hire" will host a Career Expo in New York at the Hilton New York Hotel from 10AM to 2PM. This event will give you the opportunity to talk with other job seekers, hand out business cards, get your resume critiqued for free & attend several seminars. Admission is FREE. Business attire & resumes are required for admittance. There will be an Early Morning Seminar prior to the Career Expo opening. Home Study Program For GED

Join us at the Huntington Public Library Station Branch to learn about a free, at-home study program for adults 21 and over, who would like to prepare for the GED exam, but are unable to attend classes on a regular basis. Certified instructors provide you with assignments to complete at home. Assignments are picked up at the library. Telephone assistance is also available.
