Join us at the Huntington Public Library Station Branch to learn about a free, at-home study program for adults 21 and over, who would like to prepare for the GED exam, but are unable to attend classes on a regular basis. Business Basics: How to Successfully Start a Small Business

On Tuesday, Nov 12th,  the NYS Small Business Development Center will present a workshop, "Business Basics: How to Successfuly Start a Small Business". This workshop will cover what you need to know when starting a small business. Topics will include business types, government regulations, writing a business plan, basic tax information, and financing your business. The workshop will run from 9-11 am at the SBDC Conference Center @ Farmingdale State College. There is a $12 fee. Pre- registration required.
