Recruitment Seminars to Become a Suffolk County Police Officer

Representatives from Suffolk County's police and civil service departments will offer nine free informational recruitment seminars between February 28th & March 23rd. Each seminar will provide information about the hiring process as well as requirements to become a Suffolk County police officer. Seminars are scheduled at a public library & will begin at 7 p.m. A list of seminar dates & locations can be found at www.co.suffolk.ny.us/police/documents/WyandanchSeminar.pdf. To take the June 11th police entrance examination you must preregister at joinscpd.com by March 31st. Registration for the seminars is not required.

Home Depot to Hire 60,000 Seasonal Workers

Home Depot will be hiring more than 60,000 seasonal workers in anticipation of a springtime rush for home improvement supplies. Hiring will take place during the months of February and March. Suffolk County Looking For Spanish Speaking Police Officers

For the first time ever, the Suffolk County Police Officer Exam will be offered to people who are bilingual in Spanish and English. Come to the Brentwood Public Library on Tuesday, February 15th from 7-8:30pm to speak to Suffolk County Police Officer Lola Quesada to find out what you need to know for the exam and receive suggestions on how to succeed in all of its parts.
