Home Study Program for GED

Learn about a free, at-home study program for adults 21 and over, who would like to prepare for the GED exam. The program will be run from 4:30pm -8:00pm on Monday, January 30th @ the Station Branch. Long Island Career Fair January 25th

Meet face-to-face with the hiring decision makers from some of the areas top employers on Wednesday, January 25th from 11-2pm. The Career Fair will take place at the Melville Marriott. Dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes, because they are there to hire. Just walk in and start interviewing, it's that simple. It is divided into three segments: lecture, networking and question-and-answer period. The topics covered include understanding the nature of being passionate about what you know and what you do, brainstorming, mind mapping, goal charting, and developing your passion into a money-making venture, whether that be as a business owner or an employed person.
