The Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center will be hosting the fourth annual Fresh Start Career Expo on Thursday, March 24th from 11-2 pm at Suffolk County Community College Michael J. Long Island Career Fair March 7th

Home Depot to Hire 900 on Long Island

Home Depot will be hiring about 900 part-time workers on Long Island in anticipation of a springtime rush for home improvement supplies. Permanent and seasonal job openings include positions for cashiers as well as sales and operations. Each of the 21 stores on Long Island will be hiring about 40 employees depending on need. More than half of Home Depot’s seasonal hires transitioned to permanent positions last year, according to the company.  Home Depot offers profit-sharing, tuition assistance, a 401k and a discounted stock purchase plan to part-time and full-time permanent associates.  All interested applicants must apply online at www.careers.homedepot.com.

Correction Officer Trainee Exam
