New York Career Fair in Partnership with AARP

EmploymentGuide.com in collaboration with AARP & WiserWorker.com is helping job seekers succeed in this challenging job market with a series of career fairs. These events will feature national & local employers. Candidates of all ages, experience levels & industries are encouraged to attend. The New York Career Fair will take place on Monday, April 12th from 2-6pm @ Madison Square Garden. Helping Experience Work @50+ is a component of these career fairs that will provide job search assistance to older job seekers. Each Work@50+ Career Fair will offer career counseling, job-hunting strategies, networking tips, and information on how to effectively market your skills and experience. Employers ready to hire 50+ workers will also be on site. AARP® will be teaching job seekers how to brand themselves in specifically designed hour long workshops entitled ""The Power of Promoting Yourself at 50+"" Job seekers will leave these workshops with new skills that will benefit them in their job search.
