HUFSD Spring Adult Education Programs

Register for all classes Wednesday, February 8, 2011 from 6:00-9:00 p.m., in the lobby of Huntington High School, McKay and Oakwood Roads, Huntington. All courses may also be registered by mail and will be filled in order that forms and checks are received. Mail-in registration must arrive prior to the first class. NOTE: UNLESS YOU ARE NOTIFIED OTHERWISE, YOU ARE TO ASSUME THAT YOU ARE REGISTERED AND THAT YOU ARE TO COME TO THE FIRST CLASS MEETING. NO LETTERS OF ACCEPTANCE WILL BE SENT. Adult Basic Education (G.E.D.)

NO FEE
If you do not have a high school diploma, this is your opportunity to get assistance in reading, math, general basic skills or career information. This course will prepare you to take the
New York State High School Equivalency Exam(G.E.D.). REGISTRATION WILL BE AT BOCES OR ON THE FIRST NIGHT OF CLASS. ENROLLMENT IS ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS, SPACE IS LIMITED, REGISTER EARLY. NAVIGATING A CAREER TRANSITION

FEE: $30 Residents - $35 Non-Residents

If you want to change your career path on your own or if because of today’s economy you have been forced to, this seminar will be beneficial in steering you on the right track. Plenty of time for questions and answers and any materials will be provided.
